Hundreds of Brandeis alumni and friends from around the world tuned in for the second Faculty Lecture Forum -- "What Happens to Our Brains as We Age, and What We're Trying to Do About It?”
Through a live simulcast on June 11, Professor Gregory A. Petsko, an international leader in the study of neurodegenerative diseases and the Gyula and Katica Tauber Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Pharmacodynamics at Brandeis, delivered the lecture and then conducted an interactive question-and-answer session with participants.
During his lecture, Petsko outlined what is known about brain disorders such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s, and described efforts underway at Brandeis and other institutions to prevent and treat them.

The Faculty Lecture Forum brings the richness of the Brandeis classroom experience to members of the University’s off-campus community. Through a live simulcast, distinguished Brandeis faculty members discuss relevant topics of the day. Following the lecture, viewers participate in an interactive question-and-answer session.
