Meet the Festival of the Arts staff

Ingrid Schorr oversees the annual Leonard Bernstein Festival of the Creative Arts and leads Brandeis' arts communications initiatives.
Before coming to Brandeis in 2006, Ingrid worked at the Office for the Arts at Harvard. She taught creative writing and drama at the Commonwealth School in Boston, the Putney School and St. Paul's School, and mentored young teachers at Breakthrough Cambridge, which creates paths to college for middle school students with high potential and limited opportunities.

Affiliations: Arts Administrators in Higher Education, a nationwide association of college and university professionals whose primary focus is to develop and facilitate opportunities for students to create and engage with the arts.

Blair is responsible for coordinating performances and logistics for the Leonard Bernstein Festival of the Arts. In her other life, she is executive director of Newton Community Pride.
