Feedback Form
The BEMCo Feedback Form is an initiative by BEMCo's Diversity Chair, Caitlin Samson.
This is an opportunity to share any anonymous or non-anonymous feedback for BEMCo.
Because the BEMCo and the Feedback Form is student-run, the following BEMCo members will have access to all the responses on this Google Form.
- Julia Kole (Class of 2026) #1000, BEMCo Supervisor and Executive Director
- Caitlin Samson (Class of 2025) #1010, BEMCo Supervisor and Diversity Chair
Reviewing Feedback
- In order to ensure your feedback is received and understood, Caitlin Samson and Julia Kole will need your permission to share your feedback with other BEMCo members, when applicable.
- ***Example 1: You describe an instance in which a BEMCo members was acting hostile towards you, and wrote that you would like this BEMCo member to know about this feedback. You state, however, that you would like to remain anonymous to that specific BEMCo member. Because you have provided consent that you would like this BEMCo member to know about this feedback, Kole and/or Samson will inform the BEMCo member of your feedback, exactly as it is written, but will not provide your name and contact information. This conversation between Kole/Samson and the BEMCo member will be mediated by Allison Orr (see note below).
- Example 2: You are concerned about the quality of care that can be provided by BEMCo and have doubts about BEMCo's continuing education process. You state that you are comfortable with not being anonymous and would like this information to be shared with those who are in charge of training BEMCo members. Because you have provided consent that you would like those who are in charge of training BEMCo members, and are comfortable not being anonymous Kole and/or Samson will share the feedback with the BEMCo Director of Operations (Hannah Bennett), and the BEMCo Training Officer (Kyle Pandiscio) as they are both in charge of training, exactly as your feedback is written.
- Example 3: You have general feedback about the professionalism of most BEMCo members. You state you want to remain anonymous but are comfortable with Kole and Samson informing the corps. Kole and Samson will inform the corps of this anonymous feedback at the next monthly General Meeting and, if appropriate, in writing either over WhatsApp or email.
- Example 4: You have feedback regarding the representation of leadership in BEMCo. You state you want to remain anonymous but do not want Kole and Samson to bring up your feedback as written to the leaders within BEMCo. Kole and Samson will NOT inform the leaders within BEMCo about this feedback and will find ways to incorporate your feedback without directly talking to the leaders about your specific feedback.
Internal Review Processes
***The Director of Administrative Affairs, Allison Orr (Class of 2026) #1032 is responsible for Human Resources (HR) in BEMCo. As such, if feedback provided describes an issue with a specific BEMCo member, Orr will be responsible for navigating conversations with that individual (unless, of course, the individual in question is herself).
