Here to Stay: Supporting our Trans* Community Members
April 22, 2025
Dear Brandeis Community,
Brandeis is here to support all members of our community and to provide information about a number of topics of interest, from both an academic and social standpoint. We invite all interested community members to a webinar to discuss the trans community, and rights for everyone on campus. This webinar will feature experts discussing trans* identities and related topics. This is a non-judgmental space for our community to ask questions, learn about campus and community resources, and how to address misinformation in the current national socio-political dialogue.
*“Trans” is used in this context to encompass various non-cisgender identities, including transgender, transsexual, genderfluid, agender, and other non-binary identities.
This virtual round table will feature:
- Kimberly M. Rhoten - Director of LGBTQ Policy and Strategic Initiatives, Boston Mayor's Office of LGBTQIA2S+ Advancement
- Sarah Reilly, LCSW - Staff Therapist, Brandeis Counseling Center
- Dr. Colleen Collins, MD - Medical Director, Brandeis Student Health Center
- Lauren Haynie - Assistant Vice President of Student Affairs
- Llewellyn Murray - Program Administrator, Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Education and Learning Initiatives
- Jamie Wire - Director of the Gender and Sexuality Center
