In this webinar, Dr. Alon Burstein, Israel Studies expert and incoming Hornstein faculty, will unpack the Israel-Hamas war a year since it began — breaking down some of the main arenas of contestation including: the ongoing fighting in the Gaza Strip; the casualty and hostage situation; the humanitarian situation in Gaza; and the regional context and escalations. 

Designed for Jewish communal leaders and professionals, this talk seeks to provide you with: 

  • A framework for tackling the issues of the conflict that have proven the most complex to discuss

Join the Hornstein Jewish Professional Leadership Program at Brandeis University for a virtual panel discussion exploring the Jewish communal context one year after the shattering events of October 7th.
