From Spark to Spotlight: InBite Represents Brandeis at Northeastern’s Pitch-a-Thon
Last week—InBite, a Spark start-up team at Brandeis, took the stage at the Pitch-a-Thon, an intercollegiate pitch competition hosted by Northeastern University’s IDEA. The event brings together universities across the Greater Boston Area—showcasing the value of innovation, entrepreneurship, and real-world problem-solving from top undergraduate founders. Ten schools participated, namely: Northeastern University, Babson College, Harvard University, Boston University, Hult International Business School, Wesleyan University, Bentley University, Brandeis University, Boston College, and Rutgers University.
Gianna Crisha Saludo, Startup Champion at Brandeis Innovation, opened the presentation on behalf of Brandeis University. She shared an overview of the university’s thriving entrepreneurial and innovation ecosystem—highlighting Brandeis Innovation, the Asper Center for Global Entrepreneurship at the International Business School, the Brandeis Entrepreneurship and Tech Association (BETA), and the Brandeis Design and Innovation Lab.
She also highlighted key programs that foster innovation at Brandeis, including the Brandeis Social Impact Challenge, Asper Award for Global Entrepreneurship, and the Spark Program. Wrapping up her introduction, she welcomed InBite—Spark’s top-ranked undergraduate team.

Brandeis students Devin Yuan and Long Nguyen delivered the pitch for InBite, which ended with enthusiastic applause from the Pitch-a-Thon audience.
The event was an inspiring showcase of student talent from across the region, and InBite’s pitch was a proud moment for Brandeis, highlighting not just the team’s creativity and drive, but also the strength of our growing startup community.
