The Office of Investment Management is dedicated to supporting the financial and operating goals of the university and working with the Investment Committee in pursuit of these goals. 

The office has eight full-time employees and is overseen by a nine-person investment committee whose members have significant investment experience. As of June 2024, the endowment had an approximate value of $1.26 billion. For the fiscal year ending June 30, 2024, the endowment generated an annual return of +7.4%. Over the past ten years, the office has achieved annualized returns of +6.7%.

The office also manages the Brandeis University Endowment Fund, which was established to fund scholarships, fellowships, faculty salaries, programs, activities and facilities designed to promote and advance the mission of Brandeis University. The endowment supports the operational stability of the university and provided approximately 15% of the university operating budget in fiscal year 2024.
