Required From the Hiring Department

• Letter of Support: Please print on department letterhead (see sample support letter - PDF)

• Actual Wage Form (see fillable sample - PDF)

• I-129 Export Control Compliance Certification (see fillable sample - PDF)

Required Fees

• USCIS Filing Fee: $460
• USCIS H-1B Anti-Fraud Fee: $500 (Fee not required for H-1B visa extensions)
• USCIS Premium Processing Fee: $2,805 (Consult with the ISSO to understand if the H-1B petition should be submitted with the premium processing service. )
• Effective September 1, 2025, all USCIS filing fees for H-1B petitions must be paid by credit card. Each department will be responsible for covering these fees using its own credit card by completing Form G-1450, Authorization for Credit Card Transactions, for each fee. ISSO will include the completed credit card authorization forms with the H-1B petition.
