PDP-10 Computer
To replace an IBM1130 (installed in 1967) the university buys a DEC PDP-10 with a memory of 64K of magnetic core and 2 small disks. It is temporarily housed in Ford Hall.
Faculty Honors
Prof. Ernest Grunwald, Professor of Chemistry, was elected to the National Academy of Sciences.
