Brandeis Middlesex Summer Pedagogy Institute
We invite you to apply to the Summer Teaching Institute in Reading – Writing Pedagogy facilitated by Nicholas Papas and Dr. Paige Eggebrecht.
This institute is a collaboration between Brandeis University and Middlesex Community College and will take place at Brandeis University in Waltham. This five-day program (June 23-27, 2025) has two goals: 1) to offer pedagogy training in reading and writing and 2) to connect community college faculty and PhD students with an interest in teaching at community colleges. Participants will receive a $500 stipend and will have access to free learning materials, light breakfast, coffee/tea, and lunch each day of the institute, which will run from approximately 9:30 am - 5:00 pm. Participants will be asked to complete some advance readings to kickstart our discussions for the week. At the end of the week, participants will prepare, present, and workshop a work-in-progress pedagogical instrument, approach, or project inspired by the week's discussions.
