Symposium and concert to celebrate Irving Fine's centennial
Honors founder of Brandeis' music department and School of Creative Arts

The centennial celebration of Irving Fine, music department and School of Creative Arts founder, continues with the Fine Symposium at Brandeis on Saturday, Nov. 15, 2:30 - 5 p.m. at the Slosberg Music Center.
Moderated by Eric Chasalow, the Irving G. Fine Professor of Music, the symposium panel will include former Fine student Ramon Gilbert and Pulitzer Prize-winning composers Richard Wernick and Yehudi Wyner.
A reception immediately follows this discussion and the acclaimed Music from Copland House ensemble will perform an all-Fine program at 8 p.m.
These events are free and open to the public.
