Is capitalism a threat to democracy?
How does capitalism influence democracy worldwide? Heller School for Social Policy and Management professor Robert Kuttner tackles that question in his new book, “Can Demoracy Survive Global Capitalism?”
Kuttner, whose new book was recently reviewed in the May 2018 issue of the New Yorker, will discuss his research on the evening of Wednesday, May 9, at the Boston Public Library. Kuttner will be joined by Brandeis University Provost Lisa M. Lynch and Boston Public Library President David Leonard for a lively conversation.
The event is free and open to the public.
