Research and Travel Abroad

Dear Faculty,
Summer is an important time for research and conference activities, many of which occur abroad. If you are traveling abroad for Brandeis related business, please register the dates and location of your trip abroad with Jacob Sajinyan, Brandeis University Treasury Analyst by emailing him or calling 781-736-4480.
The Office of Risk Management at Brandeis will review your travel plans to determine if the country or countries that you are traveling to are covered by the university’s insurance policy. In some cases, the university will need to purchase a rider to cover certain countries that have higher levels of risk. In other cases, the university may not be able to purchase a rider, so you would be traveling to the country at your own risk.
By registering with Risk Management, the University will be better able to assist you in cases of emergency.
