Create Date: re: collections and Community

Program June 9, 2024, 11 a.m.

Join us for a day of family-friendly fun at the Rose Art Museum with drop-in artmaking activities, lawn games, a close-looking tour, and a pop-up Family Storytime with our friends from the Waltham Library inspired by the exhibitions Noé Martínez: The Body Remembers and re: collections, Six Decades at the Rose Art Museum.

Activities are geared toward children ages 5-10 and their families, but all ages are welcome!

 

Schedule

  • 11:00 AM — Museum Opens.
  • 11:30 AM — Family Storytime with the Waltham Public Library in the Mildred S. Lee Gallery.
  • 12:00–3:00 PM — Drop-in art activity: clay sculptures inspired by the art of Noé Martínez.
  • 1:00–3:00 PM — Family-friendly close looking tours of re: collections, Six Decades at the Rose Art Museum.
