Welcome to Brandeis University
Descriptive Transcript
The video begins with various aerial shots of Brandeis University. An excited, fast paced song plays in the background and we hear a Brandeis student talking. The student says: “Welcome to Brandeis. Your future starts here. Take a look at what we have in store for you.”
The music then picks up and we shots of students on campus. The student comes back on screen and says: “Step inside the Shapiro Campus Center, where you'll join clubs as unique as you. Sign up for WBRS Brandeis’ Radio Station or Tron an Ultimate Frisbee team.” As the student talks, we see shots of a student radio station and a Frisbee team playing.
A female student comes on-screen and she says: “Enjoy a meal at Sherman Dining Hall, one of several places on campus with both kosher and non-kosher meal options.” We see shots of a dining hall and we cut to shots of dorms as we hear the first student say: “Welcome to your Residence Hall where you’ll make friendships that will last a lifetime.”
We see shots of students on campus laughing and spending time together. We hear the female student say: “Here you'll engage in research and explore interests that are both familiar and new. You’ll join other curious and passionate students and innovative professors in small classes. Dive into one major, or maybe two or three.” The male students comes on-screen and says: “Guided by our Jewish roots and founding values, Brandeis is an inclusive community of friends and faculty who will support and encourage you to succeed.” As the student talks we see shots of classrooms.
We cut to the female students and she says: “At Brandeis, you'll stretch your mind, connect with mentors, and find internships that doors to make a difference in the world.” We then see a number of shots from athletes to students in internships.
The male student comes in and says : “This is your community.” The female students comes on screen next to him and says “We can’t wait to welcome you home.” We see quick rapid shots that match the fast paced music and then the Brandeis logo comes on screen.
