The Brandeis Habitat for Humanity chapter seeks to alleviate housing insecurity through advocacy, education, and volunteering. Our team works with Essex County Habitat for Humanity and a variety of other community partners to help future homeowners build their house and make it a home. In doing so, volunteers gain a more holistic understanding of housing insecurity in America. On campus, we organize advocacy efforts to involve the Brandeis community in changing the policies and attitudes that affect housing insecurity.
