The Brandeis Habitat for Humanity chapter seeks to alleviate housing insecurity through advocacy, education, and volunteering. We work locally with Household Goods to help people in need make a home. With Habitat for Humanity, we work on a local and national level to build homes, through day builds and alternative spring break trips. Volunteers do not need to have any previous experience with building. On campus, we organize advocacy efforts to involve the Brandeis community in changing the policies and attitudes that affect housing insecurity.
