The Cast
Katherine Bulthuis '27 (Eurydice) she/her. Katherine is delighted to be performing in her second production with Brandeis University. Katherine is studying Theater Arts and appeared last semester in Everybody (Everybody). Katherine is grateful for the opportunity to explore this powerful piece on love, language, and loss, and looks forward to sharing this production with you. She thanks the creative team behind Eurydice for their support!
David Feit Mann '25 (Father) he/him. David is a Senior majoring in American Studies and Psychology. This is his first department show production. David deeply enjoys being a part of this production and is happy that he is taking part of a department show before he graduates.
Sam Taxman '27 (Orpheus) he/him. Sam Taxman is from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and is studying psychology and performing arts. This is Sam’s second department show with Brandeis, having played Peter Hunt in Wolf Play last spring, and is excited to be back on stage in the Laurie! Prior to coming to Brandeis, Sam had been involved in productions such as: Antigone (The Soldier), The Theory of Relativity (Paul), The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time (Ed Boone), Clue: On Stage (Wadsworth), and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (The Child Catcher) for which he won an Overture Jerry Award for Outstanding Supporting Performance. Sam would like to thank his mom, grandma, and the extended Taxman family for their support, as well as directors past and present. When asked about his experience working on Eurydice, Sam screamed back “I CAN'T STOP THINKING ABOUT MUSIC” before running off… Enjoy the show!
Paul Weir '25 (Interesting Man) he/him. Paul is a Senior majoring in Linguistics, with minors in Computer Science and History, from Birmingham Alabama. Paul will be spending another year at Brandeis to complete an M.S. in Computational Linguistics and Natural Language Processing. Paul is honored to conclude his time as a Brandeis undergraduate with his stage debut in a department show. In his free time, Paul performs as an improviser in the short-form improv comedy troupe Bad Grammer, as well as serving as the musical director for False Advertising, another improv comedy group on campus. Paul would like to extend lots of thanks to the wonderful cast, crew, and creative team of the show for making this a wonderful experience.
Simon Link '28 (Child) he/him. Simon hails from Atlanta, Georgia, and is so excited to be in his first department show as The Child! He is studying theater and linguistics. Previously at Brandeis, he appeared in Julius Caesar (Cassius) with Hold Thy Peace, and Grease (Danny Zuko) in the Undergraduate Theater Collective’s 24-hour musical. Before coming to Brandeis, he has had the pleasure of participating in such plays as Macbeth (Macbeth) and Much Ado About Nothing (Benedick / Dogberry) with the Atlanta Shakespeare Company’s Shakespeare Intensive for Teens, Something Profound (Human) with the Alliance Theatre’s Teen Ensemble, and Wiley (Wiley and the Hairy Man), Little Shop of Horrors (Orin the dentist), and Lend Me A Tenor (Max) with Riverwood International Charter School.
Jordan Li '27 (Big Stone) he/him. Jordan is thrilled to be making his Brandeis mainstage production debut in his first semester at Brandeis University. Originally studying at the University of Maryland, Jordan, moved back home to Boston, MA to finish his BA's in Theatre and Psychology. He understudied for Metamorphosis (King Midas) with the University of Maryland's School of Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies. He is grateful to have received the opportunity to work on Eurydice, and for his mom and dad for their love and support.
Madelyn Zimbalist'28 (Smooth Stone) she/her. Madelyn is a mid-year freshman from Sharon, Massachusetts, and is excited for her mainstage debut! Maddie's favorite past roles include: The Witch (Into the Woods), Fastrada (Pippin), and Countess Lily (Anastasia). She is also involved in Brandeis's sketch comedy group: Boris's Kitchen. Outside of theatre, Maddie is studying chemistry...oh dear. She would like to thank the production team for an amazing show, her friends for their support, and her family for helping to pay her tuition.
Dani Salsberg '27 (Loud Stone) Dani is from Manhattan, New York and is making her Brandeis mainstage production debut. Dani is so excited to be working with such a wonderful cast and crew, including many of her friends. Dani is grateful for the support from her family and professors.

Saaya Daga '27 (Little Stone) she/her. Saaya is a sophomore from Holden, Massachusetts and is playing a Stone. She is studying neuroscience and journalism and has previously appeared in Lost Girl (Callie), Girls in the Boat (Stroke), and Pride and Prejudice (Mary) with the Brandeis Undergraduate Theater Collective. She is so grateful to be part of this production and sending so many hugs to her family and friends!
Nina Lokshin '26 (Stone Understudy) she/her. Nina is from Sudbury, Massachusetts and is making her Brandeis Mainstage production debut as the Understudy for the Stones. She is double majoring in Theater and Education studies. She is so excited to be working on this production and is very grateful for all the support she has received.
Artistic Staff
Dori A. Robinson (Director) she/her. Dori A. Robinson is thrilled to return to Brandeis, her alma mater. A director, playwright, dramaturg, and performer, Dori was recently the Associate Director at the Huntington Theatre for Leopoldstadt, The Band’s Visit, and Prayer for the French Republic. Directing credits include: Silent Sky (IRNE Award, Best Production), Fully Committed, Educating Rita, The Elm Tree, A Bright Room Called Day, Julius Caesar, The Merchant of Venice, The Lion in Winter, Peter and the Starcatcher, and A Bintel Brief. She has worked with the Barnstormers, Fresh Ink, New Victory, Steppenwolf, Timeline, JArts Collaborative, Newton Theatre, Moonbox Productions, and Greater Boston Stage. Her original plays have been produced in New York, Chicago, and Boston, most recently with her company, Alight Theater Guild. Dori teaches Shakespeare, playwriting, devising, puppetry, and performance with theatres and universities throughout Boston. Sarah Rozene (Scenic Design) she/her. Sarah is a designer, director and teaching artist based in the Boston area. She has collaborated with organizations including Greater Boston Stage Company, Merrimack College, The Longwood Players, TEST at Babson College, Beatrice Herford's Vokes Theater, Apollinaire, Quill Entertainment, The Williamstown Theatre Festival, The Barnstormers Theatre, and Curry College. Sarah was the first female Artistic Director at the historic Barnstormers Theatre where she was a member of the creative staff for 15 years. She was Theatre Faculty within the Communication Department at Curry College for ten years where she strove to empower her students to tell stories through the medium of theatre. In addition to her work at Curry, Sarah has worked with students at multiple Boston area colleges. She is delighted to be back at Brandeis where she received her MFA in Theatre Design in 2009. Kat Lawrence (Costume Designer) she/her. Kat is a performer and designer currently based in the Boston area. She attended Brandeis University where she received her degree in Music, Theater Arts, and minored in Film and Interactive Media. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with highest honors for her thesis, Orlando, for which she also won the Fisher Award for Creative Achievement in the Arts. Since graduating, her work as designer, actor, wardrobe, and stitcher have been seen with The Huntington Theater, Commonwealth Shakespeare, The Hub Theater, Fresh Ink Theater, Firehouse Center for the Arts, Boston Theater Company, and Birch Tree Productions. She is currently the costume and props teacher at Cambridge School of Weston teaching the next generation of theater makers. She is so happy to be designer for her alma mater! Kayleigha Zawacki (Lighting Designer) she/her. Kayleigha Zawacki teaches theatre design at Worcester State University. In addition to designing lighting and scenery professionally for theatre and dance in the greater Boston area, she is the resident lighting and scenic designer at Boston University Academy. Outside of theatre, Kayleigha is a mixed-media and installation artist. Her recent designed experience, Panthera tigris, debuted in the Joan & Edgar Booth Theatre in Boston. She holds a BFA in Theatre Design and an MFA in Lighting Design, both from Boston University.
Evan Kelly (Sound Designer) Evan's notable sound design credits include Black Coffee, Silent Skies, Educating Rita, and Go Back for Murder with The Barnstormers Theatre. He has also served as Technical director for Regis College, Newton South High School, and Merrimack College. Currently, Evan is primarily an audio book narrator and producer.
Hannah Dillis (Props Designer) she/they. Hannah is a self-taught props master & fabricator who is delighted to join the Brandeis team for another wonderful production. When not working in theater & film, Hannah can be found teaching puppet & prop making to her students and hopes that in doing so, she can help the next generation of artists hone their skills & use their art to change the world for the better. Hannah would like to thank her friends & family for their continued support!
Sarah Schneider (Production Stage Manager) she/her. Sarah Schneider is a Boston-based stage manager and child supervisor and is thrilled to return to Brandeis for her fourth department production. She has worked with Guerilla Opera, Commonwealth Shakespeare Company, Boston Ballet, Huntington Theatre Company, Boston Playwrights’ Theatre, Wheelock Family Theatre, Company One, Boston University Opera Institute, and more. Outside of the theatre, Sarah works at Foundation for Jewish Camp. Sarah is a graduate of Boston University where she earned her BFA in Stage Management. @sarahschneids
