Student Government

GSAS is committed to supporting and facilitating student governance.
Graduate students may run for positions with the Graduate Student Association (GSA). The GSA is a body that represents graduate students across the several graduate schools at Brandeis, coordinating activities and serving as a bridge between students, administrators, and faculty.
Graduate students also have the opportunity to be involved in other aspects of university life. Graduate student representatives serve on the following committees:
- Brandeis Board of Trustees
- Committee on Teaching Learning and Assessment
- Committee on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion (DEI) and Social Justice
- Undergraduate Curriculum Committee
For more information about serving in these positions, please contact Alyssa Canelli, Assistant Dean of Academic Affairs.
