Videography and Photography in the Library
The Brandeis Library strives to partner with the community across campus to provide inclusive and equitable access to information, technology, and expertise. As part of our commitment to the Brandeis community, the privacy and comfort of our library patrons are important. Therefore, the library has implemented the following guidelines regarding videography and photography in the library building:
-
Videography is allowed in the library on a case-by-case basis.
-
All patrons intending to shoot video in the library should first check in with the Information and Borrowing Desk on Goldfarb 1.
-
Patrons may not feature any other person/persons at the library in a video or photo without their permission.
-
Patrons may not disrupt the general operations of the library during the videography and photography process.
-
If the videography or photography project will require any portion of the library be closed for any period of time, the patron should contact the library at least three days in advance by emailing borrowing@brandeis.edu to determine whether accommodations can be made.
-
If there are any questions regarding these guidelines, please email borrowing@brandeis.edu for further clarification.
