Two students sit on a rock outside on the Brandeis campus laughing and working on their laptops.

Brandeis meets 100% of calculated financial need for all students who apply for financial aid and are admitted to the university.

The Brandeis Commitment, available for U.S. students, simplifies financial aid for prospective students.
  • Full tuition grant/scholarship if your family has a total income of $75,000 or less and typical assets.
  • Half tuition grant/scholarship if your family has a total income between $200,000 and $75,000 and typical assets.

Below, you’ll find the financial aid application materials and submission deadlines for domestic first-year, domestic transfer and international applicants. You should plan to re-apply for financial aid each year.

Financial Aid Application Materials

To be considered for Brandeis financial aid, you must indicate your intent to apply for financial aid on the admissions application and submit required aid applications by the stated deadlines. After admission decisions are released, you will not be able to apply for institutional financial aid. Students can apply for federal financial aid, in the form of student loans or work-study assistance, at any time during the school year.
