Fee Waivers

Brandeis is dedicated to making applying to college accessible for all students. If the application fee presents a financial barrier, the fee will be waived. Please follow the steps below to request a fee waiver:

On the Common Application, under “Profile”, select “Common App Fee Waiver.”

Select “Yes” to the prompt: “Our member colleges want to make sure that application fees do not pose a barrier for any student who wishes to apply for admission. Do you feel that your financial circumstances might qualify you for an application fee waiver?”
If you do not meet one of the indicators of economic need, select “I can provide a supporting statement from a school official, college access counselor, financial aid officer, or community leader.” You do not need to submit a statement or additional documentation.

On the Coalition Application, in the Brandeis Supplemental questions:

Select "Yes" to the prompt: "Have you received a fee waiver invitation via email from Brandeis University or does the application fee pose a financial barrier?"
Select "waive" as your fee waiver application code.
