The Office of Equal Opportunity relocates to Bernstein-Marcus!
The Office of Equal Opportunity was occupying a temporary space on the upper level of the Intercultural Center on the East Quad since March 2019. Staring in June 2020, OEO moved to its permanent location on the lower level of the Bernstein-Marcus Administration Building. OEO is now in an accessible space, just off of the executive parking lot for the building.

On May 6, 2020, the Department of Education issued extensive new regulations regarding Title IX. On Aug. 14, 2020, Brandeis University issued new policies and processes to address those changes. These new policies incorporate many of the provisions of the policies and processes that were previously in place at Brandeis, but now are streamlined into three centralized documents that also incorporate the required changes from the new regulations.
On August 21, 2020, a Community Forum was held to provide an overview of the changes to policy and to answer questions from the community about the new policy and processes.
