During a recent Industry Trek in New York City, Shifali Nalawade, MSF’24 toured some of the world’s most influential financial firms.
At each stop — BlackRock, HSBC and J.P. Morgan Chase & Co.— Brandeis International Business School alumni were eager to network and offer career advice.
“The alumni all told stories about how they landed their jobs,” said Nalawade. “They shared great insights, like what courses will help us the most in our careers. It’s inspiring to see Brandeis graduates finding success in the finance industry.”
Trek participants also attended a networking event with dozens of Brandeis alumni working in the New York City area.
“The most helpful advice they gave me was about networking,” said Xiaohang Wang, MSBA’24. “They got their internship or their first job through networking. It’s invaluable.”
