Mitchell Bard, an associate professor of journalism and media at Iona College, was elected in November to a two-year term on the Irvington Village (New York) board of trustees. He and wife Ronna ’90, an attorney, and their 11-year-old son have lived in Irvington since 2013. Andrea Kamen, who lives in Houston, earned a Fine Art Focus on Photography Master’s Certificate from the Chicago Botanic Garden. Her photographs have been displayed at the garden as well as at the Glencoe Festival of Arts. One of her photos was used as cover art for the exhibition catalog for the 2020 Artists Beit Midrash in Highland Park, Illinois. Joey Trotz has written his first book, “Quarantine Cocktails” (Printed Page, 2021), which includes more than 100 recipes. All proceeds benefit Giving Kitchen, a charity that provides emergency assistance to food service workers.
