James Callahan

James J. Callahan, Jr., is Professor Emeritus at the Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University, where he directed the Policy Center on Aging for 20 years. Presently he is program advisor for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Brandeis and a member of the Massachusetts AARP Executive Council. He is former Secretary of the Massachusetts Department of Elder Affairs. He is also author and editor of numerous publications in the field of social welfare and aging policy.
