Lecture Capture
Select classrooms are equipped with technology for fully automated lecture capture. These systems include cameras, microphones and the ability to capture content from the projector to create a video that can be viewed by students.
Hardware vs. Software equipped classrooms:
Many classrooms include a hardware-based recording appliance that allows recordings to occur seamlessly, capturing any signal sent to the projector, a camera feed and audio from the room's built-in microphones.
Classrooms that do not include a hardware appliance but do include cameras and microphones can still record using Echo360 software installed on the classroom PC. The software will record the screen of the PC as well as the room's installed camera and audio from installed microphones. This solution requires use of the installed PC. Users who prefer to use their own laptop can install Echo360's personal capture software or use Zoom to record class sessions.

Automated lecture capture schedules are only created by request from the instructor.
Instructors can request automated lecture capture directly from the course Moodle page. Look for the "Question Mark" icon on the bottom right side of the page.
