Miranda Miller earned an MFA in poetry from Emerson College, got married and moved to Vermont to live on an off-grid subsistence homestead. Jordan Hill is a professional storyteller whose specialties include Jewish tales and stories about Africa, ghosts, science and astronomy. He draws on traditional stories from his Jewish background and his extensive travels. Basketball player Rashad Williams, Brandeis’ all-time leading scorer, with 1,928 points, was part of the 15th class of inductees enshrined in Brandeis’ Joseph M. Linsey Athletics Hall of Fame during ceremonies on Oct. 12, 2013. Rashad was a four-time All-University Athletic Association selection and earned a spot on the conference’s Silver Anniversary team. Benjamin Bilski married Nirit Helena Braha on May 19, 2013, in England. They live in London. Rebecca Samuels Nelson, husband Eric Nelson and big sister Ayla welcomed Bryn Scarlett to the family on March 20, 2013. Rachel Goldstein finished a fellowship in pediatric orthopedics at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and has started a second fellowship in juvenile hip preservation at Boston Children’s Hospital. Hal Schneider and Liliana Kualapai ’03 welcomed a baby girl, Aliya Noelani, to the family on July 20, 2013. Everyone is healthy and happy, especially brother Miles, who is excited to have a little sister.
