Adina (Stein) Alpert and her husband, Daniel, welcomed their daughter, Liat Hadasa, on Dec. 7, 2015. Big brother Itai Isaac is 4. The family lives in Washington, D.C. Jeffrey Fong married Robert Gordon in Rye, New York. In July 2016, they welcomed a son, Alistair Muirhead Gordon-Fong, through surrogacy. The family lives in Park Slope, Brooklyn. After 12 years of working as a journalist in Sydney, Australia, Jamie Freed moved to Singapore in July to serve as the Asia aviation, aerospace and defense correspondent at Thomson Reuters. Marshall Goldman was inducted into the Joseph M. Linsey Brandeis Athletics Hall of Fame on Oct. 7 during Homecoming. Brandeis’ Male Athlete of the Year in 2003, Marshall is one of the top butterfly swimmers in school history. He qualified for the NCAA Division III Championships in three of his four seasons, and graduated with 12 New England titles and 10 school records. His best times still rank among the university’s top three in all three butterfly events. Peter Kenlan graduated first in his class from the University of Maine School of Law last year and began working as a law clerk to Chief Justice Leigh Saufley of the Maine Supreme Judicial Court. Peter and his wife, Jessica Russell, live in Falmouth with their son, James, and daughter, Anna. Anurag Maskey, MA’05, and his wife, Shachi Shrestha, have twin boys, Ishan Shrestha and Avi Shrestha, who started kindergarten this fall. Michaela May and Ezra Klughaupt welcomed a daughter, Ruth Virginia, on May 9. Big sister Maya is 5 years old. Michaela is an attorney in Boston. Morgan (Rosenheck) and Solomon Sheena had their third child, Jesse, in May 2016. Morgan has launched her online business, Boston Moms Blog, a resource for parents in the Boston area. Solomon is a project manager and does private college counseling. Adam Sheps and his wife, Rachel Lohr, welcomed their second child, Jacob Richard, on Oct. 8, 2016. He joins big sister Hannah Beatrice, who is 4. Viveka (Prakash) Zawisza lives in Waltham with her husband, Jim. After practicing obstetrics and gynecology at Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates for five years, she returned to Brandeis as a full-time student to pursue a dual MBA/MS in global health policy at the Heller School.
