Sriram Anbil is a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Medical Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School. Amanda Bellmar and Mathew DiMatteo were married on Sept. 10, 2016, in Plymouth, Massachusetts. Many Brandeis alumni were in attendance. Jamie Fleishman writes, “I loved re-connecting with everyone at Reunion, and was especially grateful to reunite with Doug Nevins and Evan Rosenberg for our Sax Appeal performance. Thanks, all, for the love during our show.” Jamie has moved to New York after four years in Beijing. Deena Glucksman and Eli Schaffer were married on May 29, 2016, in Beacon, New York. Anna Khandros, Claire Cooper and Helen Shapiro, former residents of Mod 10, ask their classmates to take a moment to remember their roommate and friend Charles Hu, who passed away in January 2016. They say they think about him often. David Litvak is working as a judicial law clerk for Senior Judge Robert H. Hodges Jr. of the Court of Federal Claims, in Washington, D.C. The court deals with suits against the U.S. for money claims, general contract disputes, bid protests, and veterans and vaccine benefits claims. Aaron Louison married Lisa-Marie Guzman on Sept. 24, 2016, at the Rhode Island Country Club. Aaron is an associate director in the Institutional Advancement Division at Brandeis, and Lisa works as a project specialist in behavioral health integration at Partners HealthCare. They live in Arlington, Massachusetts. Rebecca Ney and Stephen Robinson got engaged on New Year’s Day 2016. They are happily living in Los Angeles and attending graduate school. Elana Reinholtz is founder of Bird + Stone, a socially conscious jewelry startup that helps women fight poverty. Inspired by the women she met in the villages of Kenya during a trip three years ago, Elana decided to devote her life to trying to level the playing field for women everywhere. Danielle Schivek is an associate at Pavia & Harcourt, the law firm where Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor was a partner. Like Sotomayor, Danielle advocates for the firm’s luxury-brand clientele. Arielle Schwartz completed an MBA at Simmons College and works as a business-development executive at Bernett Information Group. She specializes in marketing and sales for the Boston-based market-research firm. Ayal Weiner-Kaplow was named to the fifth annual Double Chai in the Chi list of 36 Jewish movers and shakers in Chicago under the age of 36. He was recognized for bringing innovative Israel education to communities by working full time at the iCenter and starting a youth group for Ethiopian teens in Israel. Ariel Wittenberg and Alex Schneider ’12 were married in June 2016 at the Wequassett Resort, in Chatham, Massachusetts, surrounded by family and friends, including 23 Brandeis alumni and Brandeis journalism faculty members Eileen McNamara and Maura Farrelly. Ariel and Alex live in Arlington, Virginia. Alex recently passed the bar and joined the telecommunications law firm Marashlian & Donahue as an associate. Ariel is a reporter at Greenwire, where she covers environmental policy related to transportation and defense.
