Life Insurance
Brandeis University provides group term-life insurance to eligible staff and faculty. The formal plan governs entitlement to benefits, benefit levels and other life-insurance coverage matters.

- Supplemental Life Insurance Coverage
Short-Term Disability Insurance
Brandeis' short-term disability insurance offers 26 weeks of paid leave. The short-term disability plan does not cover work-related injuries. Employees with work-related injuries may receive workers’ compensation benefits.
Long-Term Disability Insurance
The university provides group long-term total disability insurance to full-time staff (both non-exempt and exempt) and faculty.
