Julie Bauer and Gabi Scheinthal ’16 were married in Newton, Massachusetts, on June 16, 2019. More than 50 Brandeis graduates from the 1970s to the 2010s attended, including the officiant, Rabbi Steven Lindemann, and his wife, Jane, both GSAS MA’74, as well as the groom’s mother, Michelle ’86, P’16, P’16; father Stephen ’87, P’16, P’16; brother Ari ’16; and aunt Debbie Scheinthal Yankwitt ’94. Skyler Kasko and Hannen Wolfe married in an August 2021 ceremony on top of Mount Battie, in Camden, Maine. They met in graduate school, fell in love while backpacking California’s Nüümü Poyo (John Muir Trail), and adventure in the woods as often as possible. Margot Kolenda is an assistant professor of English at Hendrix College, a private liberal-arts college in Conway, Arkansas. Jesse Leung earned an MBA at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
